PHOTO STORY: EASTER 2017: Maida Vale Parish tells Easter story

It was a special Easter for many parishioners at Maida Vale St Francis of Assisi Church this year.
With a dramatised version of the Stations of the Cross, a first for the parish, Father Francis Ly was especially pleased with the Easter story that took place this year.

The Easter Triduum commenced on Holy Thursday with Fr Francis Ly washing the feet of parishioner Ken Picot which was a very solemn experience for the parishioner.
A first for the parish, Good Friday’s Station of the Cross was a live dramatised version that consisted of 23 parishioners coming together to make this day a very meaningful and spiritual journey for everyone.
A beautifully arranged floral presentation of the Altar by Cesare Zappacosta for the Easter Vigil saw many parishioners marvelling at the Altar.

The Easter Vigil was the preparation and lighting of the candle followed by Fr Francis giving all the children Easter eggs after all the Masses.
